Police say a collision which closed the Cabot Trail for several hours Thursday was fatal.
RCMP say they responded to the single vehicle collision in Middle River Thursday just after 11 a.m.
They say an SUV left the road; the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Police say the driver, a 54-year-old from Sydney, was the only person in the vehicle.
They say investigators closed the road until 9 p.m. Thursday.
