Quad Counties town keeps NSLC for now

Mulgrave’s NSLC is staying put for the time being.

After the Town of Mulgrave’s regular council meeting Monday, Mayor Ralph Hadley said the new Aulds Cove location hasn’t affected Mulgrave’s store all that much.

Hadley told The Hawk it doesn’t guarantee the store will stay open, but they’re hopeful.

“Our revenue is staying pretty well the same, didn’t decrease,” he said “So that’s a good sign for Mulgrave. I’m hoping Mulgrave will support this one here and keep it going, because it’s tax revenue for us too.”

Hadley said they don’t want to lose the NSLC jobs in the town.
