The X-Women rugby team (6-0) remains second in the latest national rankings after a 49-0 win against Saint Mary’s in Halifax to wrap up a perfect 2019 AUS regular season; the X-Women have a bye to the conference championship game in Antigonish Oct. 26.
The X-Men hockey team (3-0-1) drops one spot- from third to fourth- after a 5-4 overtime loss to Acadia in Wolfville Saturday; it was the first loss of the 2019-20 regular season for the X-Men, who are second in the seven-team conference, a point back of Acadia for top spot.
The X-Women hockey team (4-0-0) is seventh in the first women’s hockey rankings of 2019-20 following a pair of 2-0 weekend road wins against St. Thomas and Moncton; they’re tied with Saint Mary’s for top spot in their eight-team conference.
The X-Men soccer team (7-1-1) moves back into the top 10 at eighth after Thursday’s 3-1 road win against Moncton, improving their unbeaten streak to seven; they’re tied with Cape Breton for top spot in their 10-team conference.
The X-Men cross country team climbs one spot- to ninth from 10th- following a third-place finish among 14 teams at the UQAM interlock meet in Montreal Saturday; the X-Women cross country team received some votes, but not enough to crack their top 10.
