A pair of StFX teams are included in the latest national rankings.
The X-Men hockey team (4-2-1) moves up three spots- to sixth- in the U Sports 10 after a 3-2 win against top-ranked UNB in Antigonish Friday; they’re third in the seven-team AUS conference with nine points, three points behind UNB for second, and a point ahead of fourth-place Saint Mary’s.
The X-Men soccer team (9-2-1) moves back into the rankings- in the 10th spot- following Friday’s 1-0 win against Acadia in Wolfville to close out their regular season; they finished second in the 10-team conference, and earned a bye to the AUS semi-finals in Sydney Friday.
