The driver behind the wheel in a single-vehicle collision in Antigonish Co. that left a boy dead is scheduled to make his first court appearance in the case today.
Police say officers responded to the scene of the crash on South Side Harbour Rd. in Lower South River early one Sunday afternoon in July.
They say three people were in the vehicle; one passenger, a three-year-old boy, died at the scene.
A 32-year old woman from Antigonish Co. faces two impaired driving causing death-related charges and breach of probation.
She’s expected to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court.
