The Richmond Academy Hurricanes visit the Eskasoni Warriors in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
The Hurricanes (6-5-1), who have one win in their last five, are third in the five-team league with 17 points, 15 points behind SAERC for second, and 13 points ahead of the fourth-place Warriors (1-10-1), who have one win in 12 games.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; Richmond Academy has won the first three.
Game time is 7 p.m.
It’s the second of three games in as many nights for the Hurricanes, who lost to Dalbrae at home Tuesday night, and host SAERC Thursday night.
The StFX women’s hockey team is in Halifax to take on the Dalhousie Tigers in AUS action.
The X-Women (20-5-1), winners of 10 straight and 14 of the last 15, are tied with Saint Mary’s for top spot in the eight-team conference with 41 points, two points up on third-place UPEI, and are ranked ninth in the country; the Tigers (6-18-2) are seventh in the conference with 14 points.
StFX has won the first three games in the four-game season series.

The men’s game is a match-up of the top two teams in the eight-team conference; the X-Men (9-6), who have won three straight and five of the last six, are second with 28 points, 12 points behind the Tigers (14-1) for top spot, and two points ahead of third-place UNB.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; Dalhousie has won two of the first three, with their only loss of the season coming against StFX in Antigonish in January.
The women’s game features two teams at the bottom of their eight-team conference; the X-Women (2-13), who have lost six straight and 11 of the last 12, are tied with the Tigers (2-13) for seventh with four points, 12 points back of Saint Mary’s for the conference’s sixth and final playoff spot.
Dalhousie has won two of the first three games in the four-game season series between the teams.
The women get underway at 6 p.m.; the men tip off at 8 p.m.
