Two teens arrested in relation to a hold-and-secure at a local school are scheduled to make their first court appearances in the case Wednesday.
RCMP say officers were called to Dr. J.H. Gillis Regional High in Antigonish in November.
They say one person suffered minor injuries when they were assaulted by two others.
A 17-year-old and 14-year-old face charges of assault; the 17-year-old also faces a breach charge.
The boys, who were released on conditions to have no contact with the victim, are expected in Antigonish Youth Court at 1:30 p.m.
In a letter, school officials told parents and guardians a hold-and-secure was in place for roughly 15 minutes during the altercation.
