A goalie from the Quad Counties will have a new team when the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League starts up again.
River Denys’ Colten Ellis was traded on Saturday to the Charlottetown Islanders.
Ellis played three seasons in Rimouski.
During his time with the Oceanic, Ellis had a record of 78-30-4.
Rimouski received a 2020 3rd round pick, 2021 first-round pick and a second-round pick in 2021 in the trade with Charlottetown.
Ellis is a prospect for the St. Louis Blues where Port Hood’s Al MacInnis is the Senior Advisor to the General Manager.
