An Antigonish man is facing two charges related to historical sex assaults between 2009 and 2016.
RCMP say 52-year-old Stephen Lawrence Kirk faces a charge of sexual assault in relation to assaults against a girl in her teenage years in Guysborough Co. between 2009 and 2015.
They say he also faces a sexual assault charge from an assault against a woman in her twenties in Antigonish Co. in 2016.
Police say they believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who has been assaulted by Kirk to come forward.
Kirk has been released on conditions, he have no contact with the victims, and is set to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court on August 12.
