Three local emergency rooms are experiencing temporary closures.

The Strait Richmond Hospital ER in Evanston:
Closed: Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 a.m.; Reopens: Monday, Sept. 7 at 8 a.m.
Closed: Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 a.m.; Reopens: Thursday, Sept. 10 at 8 a.m.

The Guysborough Memorial Hospital ER in Guysborough:
Closed: Monday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.; Reopens Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7 a.m.
Closed: Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.; Reopens Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 a.m.
Closed: Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.; Reopens Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 a.m.

The Victoria County Memorial Hospital ER in Baddeck:
Closed: Friday, Sept. 4 at 8 a.m.; Reopens: Saturday, Sept. 5 at 8 a.m.
Closed: Saturday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.; Reopens: Sunday, Sept. 6 at 8 a.m.
Closed: Sunday, Sept. 6 at 4 p.m.; Reopens: Monday, Sept. 7 at 8 a.m.
Closed: Thursday, Sept. 10 at 8 a.m.; Reopens: Friday, Sept. 11 at 8 a.m.

The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the closures are due to lack of physician coverage.
