Pump prices change course, rise overnight

The price of gas is higher for the first time in six weeks.

Pump prices climbed as much as three cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 92.8 cents and a maximum of 95.7 cents.

It’s the first increase after five consecutive decreases.

Diesel rose 3.7 cents a litre; the new range is between 91.6 cents on the low end and 94.6 cents on the high end.
