The manhunt in Meat Cove goes on.
A large police search continues for Perry MacKinnon.
Police say the manhunt started after MacKinnon, 34, fled into a wooded area of the remote northern Inverness Co. community with a firearm Monday.
MacKinnon, who is wanted on multiple warrants, is 5’9″ and 199 pounds; he was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and blue pants.
RCMP asked residents to stay inside and not approach MacKinnon if they see him; instead, they should call 911.
Two emergency alerts were issued Monday, one at roughly 1:30 p.m. and one at roughly 7:30 p.m.; police have not issued another update since.
