There’s been another COVID-19 death in the province.
Public health officials say a woman in her 80s in the central zone has died.
There are eight new cases, all in the central zone; three are close contacts, three are under investigation, and two are travel-related.
Officials say 22 people have recovered to bring our active cases down to 124, including one each in the Inverness-Victoria-Richmond and Antigonish-Guysborough community health networks.
Six people are in hospital, including four in intensive care.
