Scattered outages in the wake of hurricane Elsa

Thousands of people woke up without power Saturday morning, a reminder of the post-tropical storm that passed by the province Friday night.

High winds caused power outages from Sydney to Yarmouth and everywhere in-between.

At its peak, 36,000 homes and businesses were in the dark. As of 9 a.m. that had dropped to a little over 10,000.
