Bolted down, 400 lbs. safe stolen in Antigonish Co.

All that’s left are the bolt holes after a 400 lbs. safe was stolen out of a shipping container in Antigonish Co.

Officers were called to the Old Trunk Rd. in Monastery Wednesday.

Locks on two shipping containers were cut. Electrical wire and the safe were taken.

The safe held firearms, a coin collection, and cash, altogether worth over $5000.
