An 18-year-old youth from Baddeck caught a hefty fine for stunting last week.
RCMP clocked his vehicle doing 210 km/h on Hwy 125 in Grand Lake Road.
Officers couldn’t pull him over because he was on the opposite side of a divided highway, they said.
Other police in the area were alerted and he was later stopped after they saw him doing 187 km/h in 100 zone.
The driver was ticketed and had his vehicle and licence seized for seven days.
In Nova Scotia, the fine for stunting is $2,422.50 first offence, six points on your licence and an immediate seven-day roadside licence suspension.
