A 54-year-old Victoria county man has been arrested in relation to a sexual assault investigation.
On Oct. 9, RCMP got a call saying a man had touched a 10-year-old girl in a sexual manner at a home in Tarbot.
The man and the the victim didn’t know each other, police say.
Officers arrested Trevor Patrick Brewer on Monday; he’s been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Brewer was released from police custody on conditions and has an appearance scheduled in Port Hawkesbury Provincial court on Dec. 1.
