At last night’s regular council meeting for the Town of Antigonish, Deputy Mayor William Cormier spoke about the exploration of consolidation between Town and County.
Cormier says there are many ways that citizens can have their questions heard and answered.
“When somebody has a question there are a number of avenues, it’s not just going to the engagement sessions. If you look at the pamphlet that went out you can go online and ask a question, you can phone and leave a number and ask a question.”
Cormier says while his opinion is only that of one person, both councils will have a vote on the matter.
