A tip added to the bill at the end of a meal is very normal and expected while dining out in North America. However, many restaurants in other countries do not accept tips; instead, they increase their wait staff’s pay.
More and more restaurants are adopting this approach, which in turn takes some pressure off the customer.
A new restaurant in Halifax is doing just that. It’s called “The Bonfire.” Check out how they say they’ll be paying their employees!
