Inverness MLA Allan MacMaster is going to Cheticamp.
He is expected to visit the North Inverness Recreation Centre for a joint press conference with Inverness County council members.
An announcement is set to be made regarding the Community Generator Program and the organizations in the county that will benefit from the funding.
Some of the recipients include the Inverness County Council for the Arts, and the Cape Breton Southwestern Food Bank Society in Port Hood.
Organizations that benefit from this program will be able to use the funding to buy and install generators that they can use to provide comfort and shelter to residents during emergencies.
The announcement is focused on generator funding in the constituency of Inverness but programs across the province are eligible for the funding.
The conference is set to begin at 1PM tomorrow.
