The annual Cape Breton moose hunt licence lottery opens soon.
Provincial officials say 345 licences will be available in five moose-management zones in Inverness and Victoria counties, the only two counties where moose hunting is allowed.
The lottery gets underway May 3; the deadline for applications is May 31.
The licence draw itself is June 15th.
