Another person charged after man left with life-threatening injuries on side of Hwy. 105

Police say they’ve arrested after a fourth person after a man was found with serious injuries in Glendale.

They say a Sydney man was found in a parked pick-up truck with life-threatening injuries on the side of Hwy. 105 in June 2016; he was airlifted to hospital in critical condition.

RCMP say their investigation determined the victim was assaulted inside the former Pictou Co. Gate Keepers Clubhouse in New Glasgow, put in the truck, and left on the side of the highway.

They say officers arrested David James Bishop, 37, Friday.

Bishop faces four charges- aggravated assault, forcible confinement, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and accessory after the fact.

He’s expected in Pictou Provincial Court Nov. 12.

Police charged three other men- two from Pictou Co. and one from Cape Breton Co.- in the case in Nov. 2018.
