RCMP say a man from Antigonish Co. will serve federal time after drugs were seized in Hants Co.
42-year-old David Joseph MacDonald of Pinevale appeared in Supreme Court in Windsor on Thursday for his sentence hearing.
MacDonald was sentenced to 30 months.
Charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana, possessing psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking and two possession charges.
MacDonald was arrested after investigators conducted a traffic stop and seized a large quantity of drugs from a transport truck in Brooklyn, Hants Co in 2015.
He is also facing a possessing child pornography charge.
MacDonald pleaded not guilty on that charge and will return to court March 1st.
