New electric vehicle chargers are coming to the Town of Antigonish.
Officials with Natural Resources Canada provided almost $500,000 to help build 99 EV fast chargers across the Maritimes; town officials contributed almost $50,000 toward the 12 local chargers.
Other locations include Berwick, Mahone Bay, Summerside and Edmundston.
The total cost of the project is $1.1 million.
