Two hockey teams are coming to the Quad Counties to prepare for the 2020 IIHF Women’s World Championship.
Team Czech Republic will be in Antigonish for a pre-competition camp March 23-29.
They’ll live and practice on the campus of StFX, and will play the X-Women hockey team at the Keating Centre March 26.
Meanwhile, Team Japan will hold their pre-tournament camp at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre March 20-28.
The Women’s World Championship takes place in Halifax and Truro March 31-April 10.
