Apartment units coming to Port Hawkesbury

Some good news if you are looking for an apartment, new units are coming to Port Hawkesbury.

They will be right next to the Curling Club and under the ownership of a private local developer who says there will be a total of 16 units.

A couple of them are one bedroom, the rest have two bedrooms.

In an email to our newsroom, the owner says the building will be senior friendly and they are aiming to have an elevator installed.

Mayor of Port Hawkesbury, Brenda Chisholm-Beaton says, she loves seeing new apartments come to town and they are working on more accessible homes, as well.

Units should be available by March 2026.
