Beach report for August 27th

It’s a beauty of a day at local beaches.

In Port Hood, it’s sunny with an air temperature of 23 and the water sitting at 21. There’s a calm south wind and the ocean is flat with no surf.

Bayfield is feeling warm at 27 degrees, with 21-degree water, a calm southwest wind, and no surf to speak of.

Over in Inverness, it’s sunny and comfortable with both the air and water at 23 degrees. There’s a very light north wind and calm conditions on the water.

Pomquet is one of the warmer spots today at 27 degrees. The water is 21, there’s a moderate south wind, and no surf.

And at Point Michaud, it’s sunny with an air temperature of 20 and water at 18 degrees. A light southwest wind is blowing and there’s just a small 0.3 metre wave rolling in.

A great day to hit the beach, with warm water, light winds, and calm conditions right across the region.
