Local artists have earned East Coast Music Awards.
The 2021 ECMAs were presented virtually Saturday and Sunday.
Inverness Co.’s Beolach won the fan’s choice award for entertainer of the year; the group consists of Wendy MacIsaac, Mac Morin, Màiri Rankin and Matt MacIsaac.
Maxim Cormier of Cheticamp took home a pair of awards- instrumental and roots-traditional recording of the year for “Live at the Fortress of Louisbourg.”
