A boil water order remains in place for residents on the Port Hastings water system.
It’s due to a major water main break in the area causing a massive loss in water from the storage tower.
Officials suggest you bring tap water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one to two minutes before consuming.
Water conservation orders are also in place until further notice.
Tips to conserve water include only taking short showers, do not wash vehicles and only use washing machines with full loads.
