Boil water advisory for Louisburg lifted

The boil water advisory for those on the Louisburg municipal water system has been lifted.

The Cape Breton Regional Municipality says Thursday afternoon, water sampling confirmed that it is safe.

It was Wednesday when the alert went into effect after a watermain break.

It covered a large area from Irish Cove to the Town of Louisburg and everywhere in between.
