Update: Boil water advisory lifted in Inverness

A boil water advisory has lifted in Inverness.

The municipality says it was due to a water main break and resulting low pressure in the system.

Customers were advised to bring tap water to a rolling boil and maintain for at least one minute.

Cool water before using for drinking, preparing infant formulas, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing beverages and food.
