Premiers Accept Healthcare Deal

Canada’s Premiers have all signed on to a new $196 billion healthcare deal that is set to completely overhaul the system over the next decade.

Of that amount $42 billion has been earmarked to addressing staffing shortages and surgery backlogs.

The deal was offered by the federal government during closed door meetings in Ottawa.
