The Antigonish Bulldogs are back on home ice in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
The Bulldogs, coming off a loss against the Pirates in Port Hawkesbury Friday night, host the Pictou Co. Scotians.
Antigonish is third in the six-team Sid Rowe Division; Pictou Co. is fourth.
Dave Synishin, the head coach of the Bulldogs, tells The Hawk they want to focus on playing well, not where they finish in the standings.
“(The Miners) and the Pirates are two very good teams, so we just want to be playing our best hockey moving into the playoffs,” he says. “Regardless of who we’re playing, we’re going to have to continue that type of play.”
Antigonish has won the first two games in the four-game season series.
Puck drop at the Antigonish Arena is 7:30 p.m.
