Cape Breton Highlands National Park issued a Hurricane Fiona Update late Yesterday afternoon.
Park facilities and services are closed due to safety concerns and people are advised to refrain from hiking or visiting the park until further notice.
The Cabot Trail remains open, but traffic is reduced to single lane alternating at French Mountain.
The Fortress of Louisburg will be closed until October 3rd
