Central Nova NDP set to announce candidate for federal election

The Central Nova NDP will officially name their candidate for the upcoming federal election Saturday.

Betsy MacDonald is set to be acclaimed at the Central Nova NDP’s nomination meeting.

The nomination will not be official until that meeting, but MacDonald is the only candidate for the nomination, and the Central Nova NDP has already announced she will be their candidate in the upcoming federal election.

MacDonald is a graduate of StFX and Brock universities

She currently serves in community outreach for the Nova Scotia NDP.
