A charge in a historical sexual assault case in Richmond Co. has been withdrawn.
Police say they investigated incidents in different areas of Isle Madame in the 1970s.
They originally charged Adolphe Patrick Kehoe, 85, of River Bourgeois with sexual assault in July 2018.
Kehoe passed away Sept. 1; the Crown formally withdrew his charge in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Sept. 10.
