There was a fire at a Port Hawkesbury business overnight.
The Fleur-de-Lis owner made a social media post this morning.
Brenda Chisholm-Beaton says RCMP and the Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department responded.
Chisholm-Beaton says police told her the cause was a cigarette butt in a flower pot.
She says the fire could have been worse if there wasn’t a man using a bank machine close by.
He’s the one who alerted authorities.
