It’s an early start to Christmas vacation for students at three schools in the Quad Counties.
Classes have been cancelled at Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre-Academy, Pleasant Bay School and Ecole NDA in Cheticamp due to predicted deteriorating weather; support staff are expected to report to work at their regular time.
There’s a snowfall warning for the Highlands.
