Classes cancelled due to weather

It’s a storm day for many students in the Quad Counties.

Officials with the Strait Regional Centre for Education have cancelled classes because of weather conditions; support staff are to report to work at 10 a.m.

It’s the fourth region-wide snow day of the 2019-20 school year.

Classes have also been cancelled Waycobah First Nation School, Mi’kmawey School and Allan Lafford High; Ecole acadienne de Pomquet has a delayed opening of 10 a.m.
