There’s been a COVID-19 exposure at an Antigonish business.
Tim Horton’s on James Street was the site of an exposure on Friday, Sept. 10.
Anyone who visited the location between 11:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. may have been exposed, and could develop symptoms up to and including September 24.
No one is required to self-isolate, regardless of vaccination status, unless they begin showing symptoms.
However, public health is advising those who are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated to get tested at least 72 hours after the exposure and monitor their health for 14 days following the exposure.
Anyone who was at the exposure site during the specified times may develop symptoms up to and including Sept. 24.
Should you begin showing symptoms, you’re required to self-isolate, book a COVID-19 test, and stay isolated until you receive a negative test result.
