Update: No one hurt in Inverness Co. crash, road has re-opened

RCMP say an Inverness Co. road has re-opened following a crash.

They say Rte. 252 in Brook Village was closed due to a motor vehicle collision, but has since re-opened in both directions.

Police say there were no injuries as a result of the single-vehicle crash, which took place at roughly 5:30 a.m., and no charges will be laid.

More than 1,600 Nova Scotia Power customers lost power in the area as a result of the crash; a utility pole was completely sheared off.

NSP’s outage website indicates service has been restored to all of the affected homes and businesses.

Classes were cancelled at Dalbrae Academy in Mabou because of the outage.
