Drug bust suspect scheduled to return to court in May

A man charged in relation to the search of a home in Inverness Co. is expected back in court in May.

RCMP say they searched a Waycobah home and found cocaine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in January.

They say they arrested a man from Waycobah without incident; he was released from custody.

The case of Alexander Paul, 31, who faces a count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, opened in court in February.

Paul was scheduled for election-and-plea in Wagmatcook Provincial Court Wednesday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until May 2.
