A home in Richmond Co. has been destroyed by fire.
Members of the Isle Madame and Louisdale Volunteer Fire Departments were called to a fire at a three-storey home in Arichat at roughly 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
There was someone inside at the time, but they escaped safely; there were no injuries.
The home has been described as a total loss.
