We have our first baby of the new year in the Quad Counties.
Yaser Almoustafa Almashhoud and Raghda Ahmad of Antigonish welcomed their baby girl Leah at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital at 1:29 p.m. Jan. 2.
Almashhoud and Ahmad, who are Syrian refugees, arrived in our country with their children in Oct. 2016.
