We’ve been in touch with the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank. They want the community to know that they are available to help everyone that is in need.
If you, or someone you know, can benefit from the food bank, please reach out to them. They are located at 514 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury.
On the other hand, if you can support the food bank, please consider doing so.
Donations can be dropped off in the collection bins at local grocery stores as usual, they are in need of the following:
potatoes
carrots
apples
cereal
cookies
granola bars
canned fruit
canned tuna, chicken and ham
canned pasta
They are also accepting E-Transfers. If you wish to donate money, you can send it to: porthawkesburyfoodbank@gmail.com
The Food Bank will be open to serve clients today (March 24) from 12:30 until 3:45 but will be limiting access to the building to comply with government regulations
