Mulgrave’s former town hall is no more.
Town staff members and councillors left their old location because of the age of the building and the repairs that were needed.
They moved into Strait Superport office space in November.
Town councillors approved a demolition tender for the building in December.
After February’s council meeting, Ralph Hadley, Mayor, told The Hawk everything is gone from the site.
“Everything’s cleaned up; the contractor did a great job and everything went well,” he said. “The land was turned back over to the church.”
Town officials had to pay rent on the property until the building was demolished.
The winning bid was roughly $11, 000.
