Update: Freezing Rain For Friday

You may want to load up on salt…more messy weather is on the way.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the province calling for snow, freezing rain or ice pellets on Friday.

Except for Northern Cape Breton and areas in the southwest.

It’s supposed to start that morning or afternoon and last for about 4 hours or more heading into the evening.

The forecaster warns of icy surfaces.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NSstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #NSStorm.
