Just in time for the long weekend, Nova Scotia gas prices have jumped once again.
According to the provincial energy board, regular gas went up overnight to about 4.5 cents a litre to about $1.96.
Diesel will also cost you more at the pump. It went up about 3.1 cents a litre to $2.16.
Although we had a slight drop last month after weeks of increases tied to the war in Iran, the price has continued to rise.
And now we are less than four cents away from paying $2 a litre.
