Gas prices up

The price at the pumps has increased for the first time in six weeks.

Gas prices climbed 1.3 cents during the regular price adjustment at midnight; the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.13.1 on the low end, and $1.16.1 on the high end.

There had been five straight weeks without an increase in gas prices.

Diesel is up 2.5 cents a litre, which means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.16.3 and a maximum of $1.19.3.
