A local hockey player has a new Maritime Hockey League team.
Keenan Gillis has been traded from the Valley Wildcats to the Pictou Co. Crushers.
The 20-year-old blueliner from Judique, who spent the last two MHL seasons in Edmundston, had his rights traded to the Wildcats in August.
Gillis was a member of the 2017 Telus Cup-champion Cape Breton West Islanders.
